Steve Lee is a lifelong guitar player ever since picking up a Mickey Mouse guitar as a toddler mimicking to Elvis Presley. Guitar fascination continued from the earliest Ventures hit singles only to be cemented when seeing The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show.

The closest was a record deal offer from Passport Records.
After years of playing in the ‘70s-‘80s somewhat progressive muso art rock music, Steve rediscovered his first love playing West Coast rock (more feeling and less thinking!) with The Sorentinos since 1994. Joys included sitting in with JJ Cale and working with John Lee Hooker, Pops Staples. Life’s adventures led to relocating to England and setting up a loyal Sorentinos fanbase on the other side of the pond including BBC Radio legend Whispering Bob Harris, Mojo Magazine many promoters and venues resulting in a numerous UK shows when possible.
Steve’s career as a Music business executive (the day job) spans almost 50 years…and he continues to be sought after valued music consultant for his creativity and honest opinion. From Bryan Ferry, Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, to Jackson Browne, XTC, to Georgia Satellites, Jason and The Scorchers to Run DMC, Backstreet Boys and beyond.
Steve and Danny have always loved playing together and will do so more in the future until they can’t. I have played Fillmore West supporting Peter Green, that's it...the bucket list!
